Yes you can do lot of thing from your home:
1. Some large corp offer “home office” program
2. Translation is a good start
3. Keeping children ?
4. Consultancy
etc…
Hahaha, i see your not an Ebay guru or an Amazon tycoon… its okay not many people are. If you want to work at home, and im assuming using as little time as possible, my best advice to you is starting or getting involved in an internet-based realitor job where you virtually make your own hours. if realty is not for you, i suggest Googling ‘work @ home’ and you’ll be amazed how many applacations turn up.

If you want to buy a printing plant, or actually spend the time and effort to enter the writing market like other writers, or spend some time gaining expertise in a profession, many people work from home and find it very satisfying. Usually there is not a market for hiring people who just don’t want to leave the house. If you don’t want to leavehome you probably don’t want to do anything at all. That’s the problem.
Check out Lionbridge. I have seen vacancies for home based jobs.
They do internet accessors, Website testers, translater and other home-based jobs recruitment for Google.

There is what is called “asset finding” - locating people (and businesses) who are listed in public records as “claimants” of “abandoned/unclaimed property”.
A large percentage of the states in the USA permit individuals to solicit claimants where in you can charge a percentage of the net amount the claimant receives (usually 10% to 15%).

Some states do require either licensing and/or registrating, but only a handful require a “bond”.
It is really easy to locate these claimants using FREE online tools including those at sites like:
In-fact many of the claimants actually live/work at the listed addresses in the public records.
